About 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport and Kuta, Amanusa Resort is located on Bali's southern peninsula, and is situated on a private grassy knoll overlooking the Indian Ocean, Nusa Dua and the Bali Golf & Country Club. The resort is a relaxing retreat, providing a sense of space and serenity, yet is conveniently close to many day and night time activities.

There are 35 suites interspersed throughout the resort's gardens and connected by walkways to guest facilities. Eight suites have private swimming pools. The spacious suites feature a four-poster queen size bed, outdoor sun deck and patio, bay window sofa and amour with CD player and television.

Every suite has an indoor sunken bathtub which appears to float within a reflecting pool. Bathing facilities also include an indoor garden shower. The attached bathroom is a haven of natural light and provides the option of an outdoor shower. Sited on the balcony is a canopied oversized day bed with bolsters, ideal for outdoor lounging.

Deluxe suites have either ocean views or golf course frontage, whilst Pool suites have the addition of private pools

Amanusa has a variety of dining facilities; pool side, the Terrace restaurant, or private dining in one's suite. The restaurant is open for dinner and features Italian cuisine in an indoor and outdoor courtyard setting. The Bar is open all day with fine views of the southern peninsula and coast. The Terrace is open for all meals and specialises in Asian fare. It has fine views of the surrounding area, outlying islands and on a clear day, distant volcanoes.

The resort has meeting facilities catering to a maximum of 30 people and is the ideal venue for small meetings and private occasions such as weddings, birthdays and family reunions. A choice of dining options and a variety of activities and leisure pursuits cater to all interests. A comprehensive booklet outlining facilities, services and activities is available upon request.

Amanusa guests enjoy a priority reservation system and 25% discount on green fees at the Bali Golf and Country Club. Facilities include and 18 hole championship course, driving range, chipping and putting greens and clubhouse facilities. Guests at Amanusa can sign all charges to their hotel account. For the enthusiast, the Bali Handara Golf Club is a 2 hour drive from Amanusa. Credited as one of the World's greatest golf courses, it provides a scenic experience set amongst Bali's revered volcanoes at Bedugul.

Two all weather tennis courts are provided with attendants supplying refreshments an ball boy service. Lights permit evening play.

The terrain of Nusa Dua is ideal for relaxed cycling on the hotel supplied bicycles. Mountain and village cycling excursions are available for the more adventurous.

Chauffeured or self-drive vehicles are available for scenic and cultural excursions. Special shopping tours may be arranged.

Amanusa's Beach Club is located on the beach front of the Bali Golf and Country Club. Accessed by shuttle buggy from the resort, the club consists of nine grass thatched shelters, each with two sun lounges. Refreshments, light meals, showers and washrooms are provided. The sand beach is one of Bali's best and is protected by a fringing coral reef that provides a safe lagoon for swimming and watersports.

Massage, body treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures are available in the comfort of your suite.
