Architecturally, the Hotel consists of a central square building flanked on both sides. Each guestroom and suite is developed in one of five thematic schemes using 100 traditional and original materials Java, Pesisiran (North Java), Bali, South Sumatra and East Indonesia.The Dharmawangsa's Grand Ballroom has the social center of Jakarta. Designed to match the integrity of the entire complex, the Grand Ballroom is designed to complement the hotel building. The nuances here are more subdued and there is a permanent purpose-built stage for public address and entertainment performances. For standing receptions, the Ballroom can hold up to 700 people, 250 people for dining, 230 people classroom style and 400 people theatre style.Nusantara literally means the land between two continents, referring of course to the Indonesian Archipelago. At the Nusantara Ballroom, a wall lined with painted and gilded wood paneling is in fact a modern interpretation of the intricately carved gebyok , a series of wood panels, usually carved, placed to denote the threshold separating the public space and the more private one, very common in Javanese old houses.The walls of the Nusantara ballroom were specially designed to reflect the traditional batik patterns of the 18th century and depict the Garuda - Indonesia's Eagle, a symbol of strength. Two large Chandeliers immediately command attention and enhance the sheer luxury of the room certain to raise the prestige of any event held there.A multi purpose function room, the Nusantara Ballroom has the capacity to hold 200 people for standing receptions, 80 people for dining, 75 people classroom style and 180 people theatre style. Total interior area is 200 sqm, with a height of approximately 5.5 meters.Sriwijaya Restaurant is located just adjacent to the entrance of the hotel; The Sriwijaya Restaurant is a thematic fine-dining restaurant, using the 8th century Sriwijaya Kingdom as its inspiration. A variety of Indonesian and International haute cuisine dishes are presented in traditional silence, a warm, romantic atmosphere and impeccable service.
